Proper specimen handling and submission are critical to successful processing of samples. Reviewing the information on labeling is a key step in each specimen's preparation. Individual tests have specific guidelines for handling samples so please make a note of those instructions which can be found by using the Laboratory Users' Guide "engine".   Specimen instructions helpful for any sample are accessible from several locations in the menu at left, from the help page (tab at top right), and here.
